Kerstin Rodgers aka MsMarmitelover launched the supper club/pop up/underground restaurant movement in the UK in 2009 with her supper club The Underground Restaurant.  Since then, hundreds of supper clubs have started in London and around the UK. My site Find a supper club is the central online resource for supper clubs to advertise their dates and locations.

Journalism:

For writing and photography commissions, get in touch at marmitelover@mac.com. I write mainly about food and travel ( with fluent French, good Spanish), interior design, politics (left of centre but not a member of any party), film, motherhood, feminism and dating. I have written for The Independent and The Guardian and currently write a monthly food column for the Ham and High and a wine column for winetrust100.co.uk.

PR policy:

I carry no sponsored posts for this blog but I do create recipes for brands and products and host events. I'm also available for writing and photography commissions on food and travel. Contact me at marmitelover@mac.com
I do not publish other people's recipes, nor do I accept guest blog posts. I do not give my recipes/articles/photographs away for free no matter how much you dress it up as an opportunity for increased traffic. You can send me products and I may mention them. I do accept books for review although it may take some time. I accept foreign travel opportunities.

Originally I come from a visual arts background and trained as a photographer (http://www.kerstinrodgers.com), having had a number of exhibitions in Paris, Chartres and London. Starting out as a teenage photographer at the New Musical Express, my work has been published in all the main newspapers and magazines. Her photography library is kept by Getty Images. An exhibition of her rock back catalogue is planned. The hit song 'My girl's mad at me' by Madness was written about her.
If you would like to commission me or buy any of my photos, email marmitelover@mac.com.

Markets/events:

A passionate believer in the punk philosophy of DIY but applied to food, I innovated The Underground Farmer's Market to encourage small producers and food businesses to sell their wares. Some markets take place at night, incorporate music and a foodie dragon's den, where a panel of experts give advice.

Talks:

I have talked about social media, food, food styling and photography at the V & A, the Women's Institute, Editorial Intelligence, Brit Mums Live conference 2011-2014, Tomorrow's Table, Global Food and Drink Summit for The Food People, The Monday Club at The Assembly, Innocent drinks, The Apple Store talks for School of Grazia, The Lost Lectures, Food Blogger Connect, BBC World, Nine Worlds Geek fest and gave a talk on the 'sharing economy' in Athens in March 2015. In October 2013, Kerstin hosted a conference on How to set up a supper club, home restaurant or pop up for The Guardian.

Judging:

For two years I was one of the Young British Foodie award judges for 'the most irreverent chef'. I was also a judge for Editorial Intelligence journalism 'online political commentator' awards 2012 and the best parent/food blogger at the Britmums Conference 2012. I was one of the judges in the section 'vegetable' for the YBF awards along with Bruno Loubet and Simon Rogan.

Gardening/food workshops

Along with my colleague Zia Mays, I run Secret Garden Club, designed to promote the links between growing and cooking.
